JMES Facilities Naming Community Advisory
Suggestions for New Names for James Monroe have been closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted a name recommendation.
Thank you Monroe Community for working together to support our students during Distance Learning.

Attendance
Students are required to attend each of their On-Site classes on the days assigned, as well as each of their assigned Zoom classes. They are also required to complete their asynchronous assignments in Seesaw or Google Classroom daily.
This is to ensure our students are able to access the highest quality education possible during Distance Learning.
Thank you again for working in partnership with Monroe Elementary to ensure our students have every opportunity to increase their knowledge and abilities.

Please check in with your child’s teacher for their schedules and specific Distance Learning Platforms. Our teachers are posting assignments on Google Classroom or Seesaw, and hosting Zoom Video Class Meetings daily.

Message From Principal Stoural
Hello Monroe Families,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome our students back to campus for On-Site learning.
This past week we welcomed approximately 300 of our students back to campus for On-Site learning. This transition has been smooth and has rejuvenated our staff.
I am so proud of all of our teachers who continue their tireless efforts to provide meaningful learning opportunities for all of our students, and to all of our students and families that have been attending On-Site and Zoom classes regularly and doing their class assignment.
We are taking attendance every day. In order to mark your student present, they must attend their On-Site classes on their assigned days, attend each of their Zoom class on their assigned days, including Music and PE, and remain for the entire class. They are also required to do asynchronous assignments in Seesaw or Google Classroom daily. Please check in with your child’s teacher for their schedules and specific Distance Learning Platforms.
All of our students have a district email address that they must use to log onto many of our distance learning platforms. If your student does not know their email or password, or is not able to log on, please contact your child’s teacher immediately.
