Attendance Information

ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANCE

We are taking attendance daily during Remote Learning.

In order to mark your student present, we need to see or hear from you child EVERY DAY including WEDNESDAY.  This can be accomplished in many different ways depending on the classroom teacher.

Please check in with your child’s teacher for their schedules and specific Distance Learning Platforms.  Our teachers are posting assignments on Google Classroom or Seesaw, hosting daily Zoom Video Class Meetings, and using a variety of other online curricula to engage students.

You can use the email links in the Staff Directory under the Teachers and Staff tab to contact any staff member.

School attendance is required by law. Every child ages 6 through 18 years of age must attend school every day and be on time for the start of school. You are responsible for your child’s school attendance. You must let the school know if your child is not in school and give a specific reason for the absence. Absences due to activities such as baby sitting, accompanying parents on errands, and attending music or sporting events are unexcused.

Absences must be cleared within ten days of the occurrence to be considered an excused absence. Please see the SRCS Student Information Handbook for more information.
